an enthralling journey that promises a remarkable fusion of history, culture,
and scenic beauty. Your exciting journey starts at Chennai International
Airport. Admire the Bay of Bengal's azure splendor as you take a cruise along
the charming Coromandel Coast.
Mahabalipuram, a historically significant UNESCO World Heritage
site, is your first destination. Discover sculptures, monuments, and
elaborately carved cave temples that tell Hindu myths. Admire the Shore
Temple's splendor and go to the biggest seashell museum in Asia. Next, travel
to Thiruvannamalai, the location of the revered Annamalaiyar Temple,
which is a Saivitian representation of fire. Proceed with your journey to
Gingee, dubbed the "Troy of the East," and explore
its ancient fort complex.
Immerse yourself in the French Colony of Pondicherry, where Tamil and French influences combine perfectly. Discover Auroville's ecological ideals and visit the Aurobindo Ashram. Visit Tranquebar, a Danish colony with a rich history, to visit Dansborg Fort and a local museum.
Return to Tarangambadi after visiting the UNESCO-listed Airavatesvara
Temple in Darasuram. Visit Thanjavur, which is the location of the
ancient Thanjavur Royal Palace and the magnificent
Brihadesvara Temple. Explore the busy market and pay a visit to the
Meenakshi-Sundareswara Temple in Madurai. Travel by car to Munnar,the "Kashmir
of South India," is known for its picturesque scenery and verdant
tea plantations. Proceed to Thekkady and take part in unique outdoor

This UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts seven temples from the 7th and 8th centuries, gracing the Bay of Bengal's shoreline. Explore the enchanting Shore Temple, featuring shrines of Shiva and Vishnu. Then, discover Asia's most significant sea shell museum, the architectural marvel of the Five Chariots, and the awe-inspiring "Descent of the Ganges", depicting King Bhagiratha's prayer to Lord Shiva to bring the Ganges to Earth. The fort then changed hands between the Marathas, Mughals, Carnatic Nawabs, French, and British. Explore this sprawling fort complex across three hillocks: Rajagiri, Krishnagiri, and Chandrayandurg, each with its citadel. The 13 km-long walls enclose an 11 sq. km area, sitting at an elevation of 800 feet, with an 80-feet-wide moat. Ascend the rocky hill track via a long flight of steps for a true adventure. Next, we'll continue to the charming French Colony, Pondicherry. This coastal gem boasts serene sea shores, mesmerizing sunsets at Promenade Beach, rich cultural heritage, historical sites, and a blend of Tamil and French influences.
