With a satisfying breakfast and a comforting cup of tea, we'll set off towards the enchanting Indo-Chinese border village nestled amidst the majestic White Mountains. When you arrive in Chitkul, take a moment to savor the breathtaking view while sipping on a cup of coffee or strolling down to the river. This patch is quite intimidating—a narrow road that hangs precariously on the edge. The excitement will persist until the Raksham Bridge. Afterwards, we will make our way back to the Baspa-Sutlej confluence in order to join up with the national highway leading to Kalpa. Experience the breathtaking sunset at the suicide point and marvel at the stunning view of Kinnar-Kailash. Staying at the Kalpa overnight.

Tabo – Kaza (Kaza Alt. - 3800 m)
Tabo is an old religious town that has been passed down through generations. Take a tour of local monasteries that are over 1000 years old. We'll go on to the Dhankar monastery. According to local legend, the monastery is seated in the Buddha's Lotus, which has eight mountain-shaped petals. To ward off evil, try meditating there. If time and road conditions permit, we will explore the other side of the Spiti River, mapping yellow and bumpy roads to Mud Village (completely dependent on weather and available time). When you get to Mud village, take in the tranquil beauty of Pin Valley National Park's multi-coloured mountains. We shall continue our adventure to Kaza later. Kaza will be staying the night. Take a stroll through the old Kaza and sample buckthorn wine and Thiang Mo (buckwheat bread) at homestay cafes.

Kaza- Langza - Hikkim - Komic - Kaza (Komic Alt. – 4587 m)
We should begin our day bright and early. It has been a lengthy day. Make sure to pay a visit to the world's highest post office in Hikkim and send a postcard to your loved ones. Keep in mind that it might take up to three months for the postcard to reach them. Afterwards, we will be exploring Komic, the highest village accessible by road at an impressive altitude of 15027 ft. Later, we will make our way to Langza to meet Buddha, taking in the breathtaking valley and sharing a smile. Consider trying the ginger lemon tea with almonds and apricot at a nearby cafe. Consider visiting the Key Monastery towards the end of the day and immersing yourself in the soothing prayer hymns. I stayed overnight in Kaza.

Kaza - Chandra Tal (Chandra Tal Alt. - 4250 m)
Let's begin our journey at Moon Lake. We'll journey to Chichcam, where we'll encounter one of the most impressive suspension bridges in the world, reaching a staggering height of 4150 m. In addition to being a popular spot for Instagram photos, the bridge is truly impressive with its 150-meter-deep gorge. (Picture this: dropping a stone and watching as it gracefully descends, taking a leisurely 16 seconds to finally make contact with the water.) The journey will proceed along one of the most breathtaking routes, taking us to Losar through the captivating Kibber wildlife sanctuary. Enjoy a refreshing cup of tea at the final tea point. The path takes you through the dirt, along high cliffs, across water crossings, and around sharp turns with blind spots. Pause for a moment to seek blessings at Kunzum Mata temple, nestled at an impressive altitude of 14931 feet at Kunzum Pass. The road towards Chandratal is narrow, allowing only one car at a time. Leave your vehicles behind at the last accessible point and embark on a trek to experience the breathtaking time-lapse of Moon Lake. We will later head to the campsite and savor a cozy supper on what promises to be a chilly night.
